Error code B500 on Canon Pixma Pro1

Please remove all cartridges, from the printer, unplug all its cables and wait for two minutes. Meanwhile, clean the cartridge and printhead contacts (where the cartridge make contact with the printhead inside the printer.) with cotton swabs and water. Then, let it dry.

After two minutes, restart the printer and insert the cartridges. Check if the issue persists.

If the issue still persists, check if the print head carriage moves, while opening the scanner lid. If no, please turn off the printer, disconnect the cables and move the carriage manually by your hand and do it five times.

If the issue still persists, the is with the logic board and you have to get the printer repaired.
